A pawsome adventure awaits with me!

My mom said I took my first steps walking toward our family dog Getta so my passion for animals started early. I have a lifelong love of animals and, as a child, I would always be the first volunteer to take the classroom animals home during winter, spring, and summer breaks.

I had my first paid pet-watching job at the age of 10, feeding my neighbor's dog and birds so caring for pets was always in my blood. I started volunteering at the local animal shelter when I was 16 and I am still a proud animal shelter volunteer, spending my time grooming the shelter residents and/or walking shelter dogs to help them find their furrever homes.

I enjoyed a successful career in the corporate world as a multi-unit manager and corporate trainer for over 30 years, but I always felt a tug at my heartstrings when I saw or volunteered with animals. In 2019, I finally decided to follow my heart and dedicate myself fully to working with animals. Now, I can focus on what truly brings me joy: providing love and care for animals and helping pet pawrents ensure their pet family is happy and healthy so we all live better lives.

Ready to give your pet a petacular adventure, I’m here to assist!

My first dog Blacky taught me to love and respect animals and I have been an animal lover since. Some of my fondest memories are playing with the many dogs I have shared my life with over the years and caring for my neighbors’ pets when I was just a young girl. The teacher down the street would entrust the school animals to my care over the summer and other neighbors would have me watch their pets while they went on vacations. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, birds, hamsters, turtles, and fish so no matter what your pet family consists of you can be sure I will love and care for them like one of my own.

I worked as a Regional Director and Franchise Operations Manager at several big box retailers for over 25 years, but my true calling has always been pets so I packed my corporate bags and joined the pet care realm. I am happy to be a caregiver for your pet family.

When not busy at the shop, I can be found rescuing animals or at the animal shelter walking dogs, cleaning kennels, doing laundry, or whatever is needed to make the animals lives a little better and help them get adopted.
